Practice based education
We combine theoretical teaching at a high academic level with real life cases. Studying at NHL University of Applied Sciences means acquiring knowledge at an academic level and learning how to apply that knowledge in practice. Through our cooperation with business, industry and the non-profit sector, we are part of several national and international networks.

Dynamic curriculum
All our institutes contribute to innovation in their fields. If current practice requires certain new skills, the curriculum changes.

Project-based work
Companies often ask students to help them with projects. This encourages students to work together in small groups. It is a good practice for the work environment in real companies.

Coaching
Coaches help you to become acquainted with our programme and study methods. There are also student advisors who can help you whenever there is a problem.

High-ranking student surveys
Many of the degree programmes taught at NHL University of Applied Sciences have achieved high rankings in the student surveys that are held every year.

Accredited
All our Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programmes have been accredited by the NVAO, the Dutch Flemish Accreditation Organisation. The Dutch education system is known worldwide for its high quality. The Ministry of Education controls and monitors the quality of all Dutch educational institutions.

English
Our international programme is taught in English.

ESN
