9 Representing your company

This competence is about knowing how to behave yourself in a certain situation as a representative of your company.

Students have to realise that the people we meet in Sweden will judge the NHL based on the way they behave during the company visits, but also during our visit to the country in total. Even on their free time people will judge the NHL, but also the Dutch people based on the behaviour of our students (and teachers).
Later on, when they are abroad for the company they work for, they will find that the people they meet will judge their company by the way they behave when they are doing business, but also based on the way they behave in their free time. That makes this a very good action learning practice
