Cargo-handling simulator

The Cargo-handling simulator comprises a number of computer screens to examine and operate the cargo-handling system aboard of tankers. The simulator includes systems for cargo- and slop tanks, ballast, tank washing, inert gas, cargo heating and hydraulic systems in driving pumps.

It is possible to connect this simulator to the engine room simulator. Then it is dependent on the engine room in delivering of steam for heating, exhaust for the inert gas installations and the electricity for the hydraulic pumps. On the bridge the cargo-handling systems can be controlled.
